The significant point of the award is given to lawyers who demonstrate outstanding excellence in their legal journey and legal works. Ms Ayu Mawar Rini is chosen to represent Mahendra & Co. in delivering the perspective of how excellence in the quality of a lawyer brings advancement in the Advocate profession.

Ms Ayu Mawar Rini shares her thoughts that "Excellencing Ourselves is Advancing the Profession" meaning that increasing her legal skills requires cross-disciplinary learning to be able to provide quality work for the corporate clients she assists on an annual basis. Currently, besides Indonesian Advocate qualification, Ms Ayu has possessed 2 (two) more qualifications of Taxation Brevet Education (A, B and C) and Capital Market Legal Consultant Education (Level 1). These two qualifications are Ms Ayu's initiative to further improve her legal quality amidst her professional responsibilities and the projects she handles, including presenting Mahendra & Co.'s Strategic Risk-Mapping for decision-making in the interests of Clients and Companies.

Ms Ayu's previous Master's studies provided the opportunity to study completely new knowledge, with a new perspective, namely legal practices and thoughts adopted by Common Law countries. This new learning, which requires courage to understand truly, is what provides and motivates Ayu to realize her goal of becoming a Global Lawyer with international quality and trusted legal skills for domestic and foreign clients. Her recognition as a lawyer and researcher often receives positive praise from fellow lawyers outside the Indonesian jurisdiction, contributing as part of the Alumni of the Centre for Commercial Studies, Queen Mary University of London.
